Today, I received the yearly invoice for 95 dollars to renew my domain name and web hosting with Vizaweb. Considering that this website was down for months just this last year, and was down to much in previous years as well, i am not going to pay it. I have completely backed up this website, down to the SQL databases, and by God, someday i will learn how to restore them. Someday when I have found a web host that uses Cpanel and doesn’t go offline for months at a time. Fuck Vizaweb!

BEHOLD THE UNKNOWN AND FEAR!  I am asking the yahoo answers folks what this is, i can’t find out on my own.

This beetle was murdered by me in my front yard here in northern California when, in a display of courage not often seen in something so small, it flew to me and landed on my arm.  Despite it’s bravery, it was promptly smashed.  I owned it.

UPDATE: Thanks to BLIP29 on yahoo answers for finding the beetles name!  It is called Hydrophilus ovatus, and it scavenges underwater for food, which is mostly mosquito larva, and now i feel bad for killing it.  YAY!
